LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.

LCG, April 29, 2026--Graphic Packaging Holding Company today announced a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. With the VPPA agreement, NextEra Energy Resources plans to build the Selenite Springs Energy Center, a 250-MW solar energy facility in West Texas, and Graphic Packaging will be the sole buyer of the facility's renewable energy attribute certificates. Graphic Packaging, a global provider of sustainable consumer packaging, expects the agreement to cover approximately 43 percent of its 2025 electricity usage in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will advance Graphic Packaging's commitment to source renewable electricity and reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Duke Energy Florida Announces New Solar Power Plants to Reach 700 MW Commitment
LCG, June 4, 2020--Duke Energy Florida (DEF) yesterday announced the locations of its three newest solar power plants that will complete DEF's commitment to customers to provide 700 MW of clean energy by 2022. DEF currently has over 500 MW of solar generation under construction or in operation, excluding the three new sites. The company is investing an estimated $1 billion to build or purchase a total of 700 MW of solar power facilities from 2018 through 2022 in Florida and is planning to reach a total of almost 1,700 MW of solar generation over the next 10 years.
All three of the new sites will be built in Florida and use single-axis tracking solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The single-axis tracking enables panels to track the movement of the sun to deliver more power from sunrise to sunset. Each facility will have an installed capacity of nearly 75 MW. The Duette Solar Power Plant (74.5 MW) will be built on approximately 520 acres in Manatee County; the Charlie Creek Solar Power Plant (74.9 MW) will be built on 610 acres in Hardee County; and the Archer Solar Power Plant (74.9 MW) will be built on 630 acres in Alachua County. All three solar power plants are expected to be finished in late 2021.
DEF recently completed two other Florida facilities. The 74.9-MW Columbia Solar Power Plant in Columbia County commenced providing power to the grid on March 17, 2020. The 74.5-MW DeBary Solar Power Plant in Volusia County began delivering power to the grid on May 14, 2020.
DEF also announced in January that it would build the Twin Rivers Solar Power Plant and the Santa Fe Solar Power Plant. The Twin Rivers Solar Power Plant will be built on 460 acres in Hamilton County, Florida and include approximately 235,000 tracking solar panel with a capacity 74.9 MW. The Santa Fe Solar Power Plant will be built on approximately 600 acres in Columbia County, Florida. Similar to the Twin Rivers Solar Power Plant, the 74.9-MW solar facility will include approximately 235,000 tracking solar panels with a capacity of 74.9 MW. DEF will develop, own, operate and maintain the solar energy facilities. The projects are scheduled to be operational by year-end.
