LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.

LCG, April 29, 2026--Graphic Packaging Holding Company today announced a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. With the VPPA agreement, NextEra Energy Resources plans to build the Selenite Springs Energy Center, a 250-MW solar energy facility in West Texas, and Graphic Packaging will be the sole buyer of the facility's renewable energy attribute certificates. Graphic Packaging, a global provider of sustainable consumer packaging, expects the agreement to cover approximately 43 percent of its 2025 electricity usage in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will advance Graphic Packaging's commitment to source renewable electricity and reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Dominion Energy Virginia Receives Approval to Add Nearly 1,000 MW of Clean Energy
LCG, March 17, 2022--The Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) approved on Tuesday an expansion of solar and energy storage projects approaching 1,000 MW for Dominion Energy Virginia customers. The approved expansion includes 15 Dominion Energy Virginia projects, plus power purchase agreements (PPAs) with 24 other projects owned by third-party developers.
The projects developed by Dominion are scheduled to be completed in 2022 and 2023, adding approximately 665 MW of solar capacity and 70 MW of storage capacity.
The president of Dominion Energy Virginia stated, “This is another significant milestone in Virginia's transition to energy independence. These projects will support thousands of good jobs and hundreds of millions in economic activity in communities across Virginia. This is a positive step forward for our customers, the environment and Virginia's economy.”
The projects will advance Dominion Energy down its path toward net zero greenhouse gas emissions while meeting the future energy needs of its customers.
In 2020, the State of Virginia passed the Virginia Clean Economy Act (SB 851) that calls for Dominion Energy Virginia and the smaller Appalachian Power Co. to (i) supply 30 percent of their power from renewables by 2030 and (ii) close all carbon-emitting power plants by 2045 for Dominion and by 2050 for Appalachian.
