It is essential for the long-term economic health of the city to have a foundation of industrial tax base."Adjoining the 1,600-acre Bethlehem Commerce Center will be a 160-acre historical site known as Bethlehem Works, which will retain historic and architecturally significant steelmaking-related buildings and will be anchored by the National Museum of Industrial History in association with the Smithsonian Institution.
