LCG, October 6, 2026--Google and Constellation Energy today announced a long-term strategic clean energy collaboration to bring 890 MW of new, reliable, carbon-free nuclear capacity onto the PJM Interconnection grid to meet growing demand and increase grid reliability. LCG, October 5, 2026--The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) today announced a conditional loan commitment of up to $4.2 billion to finance nuclear uprates and modernization across Vistra’s nuclear fleet in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The projects are expected to preserve nearly 4 GW of carbon-free, baseload power and add 433 MW of new nuclear capacity that will support the growing electricity demand across the PJM region.

Niagara Mohawk to Cut Power Delivery Charges
LCG, Aug. 17,2000--Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. said yesterday that the New York State Public Service Commission had approved its plan to lower electricity delivery prices for most of its customers beginning next month.Residential and small commercial customers will see average electricity delivery price reductions of about 1.5 percent when compared to last September. The reduction would be on top of an average 1.7 percent delivery price cut over the last two years.The companys largest industrial customers will see their delivery prices reduced by about 1.9percent when compared to a year ago.William E. Davis, Niagara Mohawk's chairman and chief executive, said "These savings and New York state's important energy tax reductions will play a significant role in our efforts to promote economicdevelopment and competition across our service territory."Total savings the three-year plan will come to about $600 million, including gross receipts tax reductions and discounts currently offered to Niagara Mohawk's largest customers under the company's flexible pricing programs, the company said.Davis said the new pricing structure will allow customers to make more meaningful comparisons between Niagara Mohawks prices and those of other service providers.
