LCG, November 5, 2026--NTT DATA, an AI, digital business and technology services company, today announced an agreement with Bloom Energy to deploy 900 MW of Bloom Energy's fuel cell technology to power multiple data center projects around the world. The agreement is Bloom Energy's largest international project to date.

LCG, November 2, 2026--Vistra Corp. announced on October 30 that, following receipt of all required regulatory approvals, it has completed the acquisition of Cogentrix Energy from funds managed by Quantum Capital Group. The acquisition consists of 10 natural gas-fired power generation facilities totaling nearly 5,500 MW of capacity. The addition of Cogentrix's facilities to Vistra's existing generation portfolio raises Vistra's U.S. generation portfolio to nearly 50,000 MW.

New Canadian Wind Farm Announced
LCG, March 21, 2001--Ontario Power Generation and British Energy (Canada) Ltd. said yesterday they had formed a 50-50 joint venture, Huron Wind, to develop a wind energy facility near Kincardine in the Canadian province of Ontario.The companies said they planned to have at least 10 megawatts of installed capacity by early next year. The two companies will be jointly responsible for day-to-day operation of the facility and for marketing the output of the wind farm."We expect that Ontario electricity customers will be asking for 'green power' as part of their energy mix when the competitive electricity market opens. This wind farm will provide a nice balance to our green power portfolio," said Graham Brown, chief operating officer of Ontario Power."The intermittent nature of wind energy means that consumers can not yet fully count on wind power like they can on hydro, fossil and nuclear facilities, but this project will make a significant addition to (our) existing green power portfolio," Brown added.The companies said the site chosen has proven to be one of the most promising in Ontario, with conditions that would allow the wind farm to operate at about a 30 per cent capacity factor.
