LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.

LCG, April 29, 2026--Graphic Packaging Holding Company today announced a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. With the VPPA agreement, NextEra Energy Resources plans to build the Selenite Springs Energy Center, a 250-MW solar energy facility in West Texas, and Graphic Packaging will be the sole buyer of the facility's renewable energy attribute certificates. Graphic Packaging, a global provider of sustainable consumer packaging, expects the agreement to cover approximately 43 percent of its 2025 electricity usage in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will advance Graphic Packaging's commitment to source renewable electricity and reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

MidAmerican Proceeds with Diverse Projects in Iowa
LCG, December 21, 2004--Phase 2 of MidAmerican Energy Company's Greater Des Moines Energy Center became operational last Friday, bringing the total station capacity up to 540 MW. The initial phase of the gas-fired, combined-cycle plant provided 350 MW of capacity and began commercial operations in May 2003.MidAmerican is also proceeding with two wind farms in Iowa. Each wind farm will include 100, 1.5-MW wind turbines, with a combined generating capacity of over 300 MW. One wind farm, located in Buena Vista and Sac Counties, is expected to be completed later this month. The other wind farm will be located in Wright and Hamilton Counties and is expected to commence operations next summer.To round out MidAmerican's efforts, a proposed decision and order issued last Wednesday from the Iowa Utilities Board gave MidAmerican approval to proceed with its proposed 122-mile long, 345-kV electric transmission line designed to complement the new, 790-MW coal-fired unit at Council Bluffs Energy Center. Construction on the new unit began in the fall of 2003, and the target date for commercial operations is summer 2007.
