LCG, August 12, 2026--Arevon Energy, Inc., an energy developer, owner, and operator, today announced that its 300 MW/1,200 MWh Nighthawk Energy Storage Project in Poway, California, is now operational. Arevon celebrated the project's completion with an on-site ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by project partners, local officials, and others who helped bring the project online. Nighthawk, the largest standalone storage facility in the company's portfolio, should enhance system reliability and is among the San Diego region's most significant energy storage facilities.

Xcel Expands Plans for Wind Power in Minnesota
LCG, February 2, 2007--Xcel Energy announced earlier this week its plan to construct its first wind farm in Minnesota. The wind project is estimated to cost $210 million and scheduled to be complete by 2009. The new facility would have an electric generating capacity of 100 MW.
Xcel Energy's use of wind power in Minnesota took another step forward last month when it was announced that project financing for the Fenton Wind Energy Project, a 205-MW project under construction in Minnesota, was complete and that energy from the project is to be sold to Northern States Power, a subsidiary of Xcel Energy. The power output will be purchased under a 25-year agreement. The facility includes 137 GE wind turbines, each with a capacity of 1.5 MW, and is scheduled to start commercial operations in the second half of this year. enXco, Inc. is the developer of the Fenton Wind Energy Project.
