LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.

LCG, April 29, 2026--Graphic Packaging Holding Company today announced a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. With the VPPA agreement, NextEra Energy Resources plans to build the Selenite Springs Energy Center, a 250-MW solar energy facility in West Texas, and Graphic Packaging will be the sole buyer of the facility's renewable energy attribute certificates. Graphic Packaging, a global provider of sustainable consumer packaging, expects the agreement to cover approximately 43 percent of its 2025 electricity usage in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will advance Graphic Packaging's commitment to source renewable electricity and reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

New Jersey Awards Grant for Offshore Wind Farm
LCG, October 9, 2008--The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) evaluated offshore, wind farm proposals from five companies and on October 3 awarded a $4 million start-up grant to Garden State Offshore Energy, a joint venture between PSEG Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), and Deepwater Wind of Hoboken. The project includes the installation of 96 wind turbines located 16 to 21 miles off the coast of Atlantic City and Avalon.
The electric generating capacity of the proposed wind farm will be 345 MW, and the estimated project cost is approximately $1.1 billion. The project includes 96 wind turbines and is scheduled to be built in two phases, with the first half of the turbines installed by 2012 and the remainder a year later.
The project represents an initial step towards the Governor's plans to develop wind power offshore. On Monday, the Governor stated, ?Today, I am announcing that we?re not just doubling our commitment, we?re tripling it. New Jersey will support and encourage the development of 3,000 MW of wind power off its coast by 2020, which will be 13 percent of its total electricity. And we will get to 1,000 MW by 2012.?
A spokesman for PSEG said, "Having the state behind us and saying that they want this to move is very, very helpful."
Permits must be obtained from the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and from the federal Minerals Management Service, which would lease areas of the ocean floor to builders.
According to PSEG Renewable Energy, the completion of the project is dependent on receipt of all required permits, ongoing analysis of environmental impacts, wind quality studies, energy markets, financing and other conditions. The decision to proceed, as well as final location, design and construction schedules, could be affected by these factors.
