Over 500,000 parabolic mirrors will be assembled in rows located on about 1,800 acres in the Sonoran Desert. Power will be generated from steam turbine generators receiving steam from solar steam generators that use a heat-transfer fluid exposed to the sun in arrays of parabolic mirrors.
