OG&E and Google Announce Contract for Three Data Centers in Oklahoma

LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.

Graphic Packaging and NextEra Energy Resources Sign 250-MW Virtual Power Purchase Agreement

LCG, April 29, 2026--Graphic Packaging Holding Company today announced a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. With the VPPA agreement, NextEra Energy Resources plans to build the Selenite Springs Energy Center, a 250-MW solar energy facility in West Texas, and Graphic Packaging will be the sole buyer of the facility's renewable energy attribute certificates. Graphic Packaging, a global provider of sustainable consumer packaging, expects the agreement to cover approximately 43 percent of its 2025 electricity usage in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will advance Graphic Packaging's commitment to source renewable electricity and reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Siemens Receives Order to Supply Turbines for 200-MW Wind Project in Texas

LCG, February 12, 2015-Siemens announced Tuesday that Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Development) has awarded the company an order to supply and install 87 wind turbines at the Logan's Gap Wind project located in Comanche County, Texas,. The 200-MW project will use the SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines, each with a power rating of 2.3 MW and 53 meter blades. The installation is scheduled this year, and operations are to commence this fall. An executed service and maintenance agreement for the turbines is included in the agreement.

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. has a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to acquire 58% of the expected output from the project. A financial institution will purchase 17% of the expected output under a 13-year fixed price agreement, and the remaining 25% of expected output will be sold at ERCOT spot market prices.

The Logan's Gap Wind project is located in ERCOT's North Zone and will connect to Oncor's 138kV Comanche-Zephyr line, which crosses the project site and supplies power to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The nacelles for the project will be assembled at the Siemens facility in Hutchinson, Kansas. The blades will be manufactured at the Siemens blade facility in Fort Madison, Iowa.
